Established in 1937 and masterfully designed by John Van Kleek, Traditions at the Glen offers a championship Johnson City golf course with an array of excellent golf holes. This classic-style golf course is set on rolling hills overlooking the Susquehanna Valley in the Southern Tier of New York. While the front nine is slightly longer than the back, the stretch of holes along The Glen are truly scenic gems. The seventh hole, a 591-yard par 5 that drops steeply from tee to green, offers splendid views of the Susquehanna Valley. The wooded Glen comes into play on the Par 4, third hole and Par 3, sixth hole — both requiring accurate drives and approach shots — unless you plan on spending more time in the woods than anticipated.

Tournaments and Outings

Traditions at the Glen Resort and Conference Center offers a unique setting for your Johnson City, NY golf outing. We can host large corporate tournaments or smaller, more informal family get-togethers. Our large tent, located right beside the pro shop, is the perfect place to gather before and after the outing to talk about the game. Equipped with its own kitchen and restroom facilities, this large outdoor facility can accommodate up to 300 guests.
