Bridgette, LMT

Bridgette After attending the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage (OSTM) in 2008, Bridgette found her calling. Helping and healing others have always been two of her top priorities in life, and now, she is able to do both by way of massage.

Bridgette feels the benefits of massage go beyond the surface of each client. This therapy helps people heal not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally as well. Whether they prefer Prenatal, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone or Swedish massage, Bridgette promises to work her hardest to meet each and every need of each particular client.

Bridgette feels that her continued success is the result of striving to improve herself and exceed the expectations of her clients. She is very happy to bring massage into others’ lives, and share this experience with them.  She looks forward to working with you.


Casey, LMT

Casey graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New York. She loves massage and all it has to offer.

Swedish is one of Casey’s favorite massage styles.  She finds the relaxing techniques of this style both renewing and invigorating to not only her clients, but also herself. She is also interested in specific muscle work, especially that of the neck and shoulders. Casey is currently pursuing additional training in pregnancy and infant massage.

Casey is available Mondays & Tuesdays 9-3, Wednesdays 2-8, Thursdays 3-8, Every Other Friday 2-8, Saturdays 3-8 and Every Other Sunday 11-5. 

 


Danielle, LMT

Danielle Danielle graduated from The Finger Lakes School of Massage in June 2008. She is enthusiastic and passionate about massage and always offers her best to each of her clients.

Danielle enjoys doing specific work, especially on the back, neck, and shoulders. She also loves working at sporting events and enjoys giving our Golfer/Sports massage, along with giving chair massages at promotional events. 


Elisabet, LMT

ElizabetElisabet graduated from The Finger Lakes School of Massage in December 2004. Following graduation she began her career at a ski resort in Vermont, followed by a year at a Thalasso spa in Montauk, NY and a summer in a holistic spa in East Hampton. Having gained experience and a desire to return home, she found The Spa at Traditions as it was just opening. She has been with The Spa ever since.

In practice, she relies strongly on intuition, and an ability to read the body’s response to touch.  Her massage is a stylized blend of Connective Tissue Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish and Energy Work.  She is committed to serving each client’s specific needs.  An aspiring Aromatherapist, she also enjoys performing the body treatments on the spa menu, which incorporate the healing properties of essential oils.

Elisabet is licensed in New York State, is also Nationally Certified (NCBTMB) and a member of Associated Massage and Bodywork Professionals (ABMP). She recently received certification in "The Power Tools of Massage " from the Nayada Institute and is also a certified Reiki practitioner/Chakra Healer.


Jennie, LMT

JennieJennie graduated from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in December of 2006. She has been practicing bodywork ever since, mostly in the spa setting. Her goal as a massage therapist is to integrate different techniques to allow her clients to find what feels good for them.

Jennie’s typical routine includes a mixture of Deep Tissue, Swedish and Energy Healing.  She recently took “The Power Tools of Massage” through the Nayada Institute of Massage to advance her deep tissue skills.  Her favorite style is Body Renewal, where she moves rhythmically and harmoniously to relax her clients.  

Jennie has an interest in continuing her education to diversify her skill set. She is very passionate about her work and is committed to meeting her client’s needs.


Jesse, LMT

Jesse is a graduate of The Finger Lakes School of Massage.  She enjoys working at The Spa at Traditions because it offers a variety of work in a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere.  Her massage interests include Swedish, Pregnancy Massage and Reflexology.

Jesse is available Mondays 2-8, Tuesdays 3-8, Wednesdays 9-2, every other Friday 2-8, Saturdays 9-3, and every other Sunday 11-5.


Justin, LMT

Justin graduated from The Finger Lakes School of Massage in 2008. He particularly enjoys therapeutic Deep Tissue bodywork, but enjoys all other styles of massage including Hot Stone and Swedish.  Justin is also trained in body treatments, including Body Scrubs and Wraps.

He is available at The Spa at Traditions throughout the week, including weekends.


Katy, LMT

Katy’s path to a massage therapist began as an EMT with a local volunteer fire hall in Broome County. Her experiences as an EMT inspired a curiosity for how the human body seeks healing, and caused her to explore other venues which ultimately led her to massage.  As a 2008 graduate from The Finger Lakes School of Massage, life took her North to the Adirondacks, where she took up a position in the Spa at The Whiteface Lodge.  Two years later, her journey brought her back to Binghamton area where she discovered Traditions Resort, a workplace she greatly enjoys.  She recently took Reiki Level One to incorporate universal healing energy into her work.  She intends to further her education in order to provide you the best that her hands can offer.

Her treatments are integrative, bringing together elements of flowing Swedish, gentle body stretches, and lengthening connective tissue work.  She aims to provide a physical and mental sanctuary for you.

Kelli, LMT

Kelli Kelli is a 2006 graduate of The Finger Lakes School of Massage. She has been practicing massage in the Binghamton area since 2007. Prior to massage school, Kelli worked 11 years for local chiropractors.

Kelli believes massage therapy is a very fulfilling career. She is very passionate about health, and healing the body. She enjoys personalizing each session for every client, combining Swedish, Connective Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy, and giving special attention to areas of injury and chronic pain. Her goal is to meet the needs of each and every client.

Kelli is available at The Spa Monday, Thursday and Sunday.


Laurie, LMT

LaurieLaurie graduated second in her class from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Syracuse. Originally a local business owner for several years, she decided to change careers to work in a field that promotes health and well-being.  It was a good decision, as Laurie has found her calling.  She's been working with The Spa at Traditions ever since and absolutely loves what she is doing.  Her specialty is Deep Tissue Massage.


Mari, LMT

MariMari graduated from The Finger Lakes School of Massage in December 2004.  Integrating rhythmic Swedish and Deep Tissue massage, she is able to create a session that not only provides deep relaxation but also promotes healing and pain relief.  She especially enjoys deep and specific neck work, an area that allows the whole body to unwind.

In addition to being a licensed massage therapist, Mari is also a DONA International  Trained Birth Doula (www.dona.org). She accompanies women in labor to ensure a safe and satisfying birth experience, and provides them with the healing benefits of massage during pregnancy.

Maria, LMT

Maria is a licensed massage therapist from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage and has been proudly practicing since September 2005.

Maria offers each treatment with a unique and individualized approach that is in direct response to the physical and emotional health and well being of the recipient. She prides herself on being able to provide a flexible and intuitive massage technique that is deeply rooted in both practical and theoretical training. This allows her provide a warm, comforting approach and personalized therapeutic experience. Maria’s ultimate goal is to provide a catered response to a broad range of clientele regardless of what their background or needs may be, while simultaneously leading each individual closer to their goal of fuller mind, body and spirit balance.


Nicole, LMT

NikkiNicole has been practicing massage since the beginning of 2009. She finds that integrating different modalities based on the client’s needs is more beneficial than assuming what works for some will automatically work for others. She has taken courses on Deep Tissue neck work and Trigger Point Therapy. She is currently attending a physical therapy assistant program, and intends to continue her bodywork education throughout her career. She loves her job as a therapist because of the low stress atmosphere and healing environment that comes with the job. Nicole is interested in all aspects of wellness, and provides guidance on nutrition and stretching techniques if desired.


Shannon, LMT

A 2006 graduate of The Finger Lakes School of Massage, Shannon believes massage is a great way to calm the mind, alleviate muscular pain, and restore overall well being.  Her massage style is holistic and involves a unique blend of traditional Swedish massage, deep tissue techniques, and heart-centered lomi lomi massage.  However, she is very flexible in her work, as she is committed to tailoring her sessions to meet the individual needs of each client.  An advocate of hydrotherapy, she enjoys giving hot stone massage and often encourages her clients to take advantage of the steam showers at the spa prior to receiving massage in order to achieve the greatest benefit from each session.  Having studied medicinal herbs and essential oils, Shannon also loves to offer our aromatherapy massage to spa guests.
